Patong Beach

Patong beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket; the beach stretches about 3 kilometers from north to south. The crowds really start to pickup around 1000 AM, some of the quite times to visit is early in the morning just before sunrise; this is a nice time to go if you want to get some morning exercise, I like to come up here once or twice a week to run the beach. If you want to see to truly spectacular sunsets; Patong beach is one of the best places to see this.

Patong beach is actually a very beautiful beach, one of the best in Phuket, I like to run the beach in the early morning hours about once a week, I also have one of my distance swim located at Patong beach. One note, I always do my Patong beach distance swim very early in the morning, you have to do this before all the Jet skis and other watercraft arrive, if not, you take a chance on getting hit one of them.
