La Gritta Italian Restaurant at the Amari Coral Beach resort

The La Gritta really is a nice restaurant; you can find this restaurant within the Amari Coral Beach resort which is located in the southwestern area of Patong.

The Italian food is pretty good, although if you are looking for fresh pizza you won’t find it here, we are big time pizza lovers so the first time we dined here we were a little disappointed, but we ordered the Fettucini alfredo along with the constant fresh baked bread made it all worthwhile.

One of the reasons we like to dine here is the incredible views of Patong Bay at night, truly a sight to be seen and very romantic setting with the candle lights and the breeze coming off the beautiful bay.

So would I recommend this Italian restaurant, “yes I would”, very simple, romantic, elegant and not to overpriced.
